A FOOTBALL group is looking to score big by collecting trainers to send to Africa.
D&W Coaching is working with Morrisons in Leamington to collect trainers and football boots to send to boys and girls who want to play football abroad.
The boots will be delivered by charity Sals Shoes, which donates preowned shoes to poorer countries across the world.
A D&W Coaching spokesman said: “We take for granted having trainers and football boots to play in but unfortunately not everyone is so lucky.
“Sals shoes collect shoes to send to boys and girls to wear across Africa. If anybody has any old pairs they would like to donate to us, it would be greatly appreciated.”
Boots and trainers can be dropped off in Morrisons by the end of April.
