BIRDS of prey are nesting in Leamington’s Town Hall – and you can watch them live.
Warwick District Council and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust installed a nesting box in the top of the tower, and peregrine falcons have taken up residence there.
The rare birds – there around 3,000 in the UK – can be seen on a live feed sitting in the box and coming and going from the hall.
The falcons have long pointed wings and a short tail with a black ‘moustache’ which contrasts with their white faces and spotted breast.
A spokeswoman from the council said: “We have placed a nesting box at the top of the tower of Leamington Town Hall. We now have a live feed of peregrine falcons nesting on the Town Hall.”
