WEAVERS spinned a yarn or two at Chedham’s Yard at the weekend.
Members of the Stratford Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers were out in force across Warwickshire as part of the international Spin in Public Event.
And as well as taking to Market Hall Museum in Warwick, the Wood Warehouse in Leamington and Hillers Farm Shop in Alcester, talented spinners also showcased their skills behind the wheel at heritage attraction Chedham’s Yard in Wellesbourne.
A group spokeswoman said: “Every year, handspinners across the world get out in public to demonstrate spinning various fibres into yarn.
“We love to pass on our knowledge and, as a guild, we try to inspire each other to continually expand our skills and knowledge.”
