IT will be full steam ahead to Leamington for model railways enthusiasts.
The 45th Leamington and Warwick Model Railway Exhibition takes place at Royal Leamington Spa College on the weekend of March 7 and 8.
The featured club layout this year will be the P4 fine scale layout Clarendon that featured on the Channel 5 television programme ‘The Great Model Railway Challenge’.
The exhibition will also feature layouts representing most modelling scales and trade stalls to help modellers to create their own home layout.
The show will be open on Saturday from 10am until 5pm and on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. Admission is £8 (children £2 with a family ticket priced £18).
Following on from the exhibition, the club will be holding an open day at its Knightcote club house on Saturday March 22.

The weekend, which draws model rail enthusiasts from across Europe, will feature layouts from clubs and dedicated hobbyists, together everything needed to build a display at home.
