Whitnash Primary School building for the future

Leamington Editorial 24th May, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A WHITNASH school is building for the future.

Whitnash Primary headteacher Donna Ellison was joined by the town’s Mayor, Coun Judy Falp, on Friday as the pair officially unveiled a new classroom.

And pupils were quick to test the new facilities for size before giving them the seal of approval.

The Langley Road school will be increasing its intake from September and the new classroom marks the beginning of a wider restoration project.

Mrs Ellison told the Observer: “I am working with the very dedicated Parent Teacher Association to enhance the school’s existing funding to develop the Reception provision and outdoor area and we are really excited about the future development of our school.

“We are very much looking forward to working with all the new families coming to Whitnash Primary and and excited that these new children will be part of the school’s existing developments.”

The school will be holding its annual summer fete on June 24 from 3.15pm to 6pm.
