Windsor Guard put in practice for Royal Wedding at Leamington school

A WINDSOR guard put in some practice for the Royal Wedding when he stopped by a school in Leamington.

The Kingsley School celebrated the eve of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day with a picnic.

But the event was just a dress rehearsal for school bus driver Anthony Glover.

When the party was over he jumped into a helicopter to join the proceedings on Saturday as a ceremonial guard.

Mr Glover is chairman of The Soldier’s Charity, which is supported by Prince Harry, and joined the Coldstream Guards to line the streets around Windsor Castle in full traditional uniform.

The honorary guard said he was happy to be there for Harry’s big day.

He described the Prince as ‘kind and genuine’ and wished him and his new bride well for the future.
