Witnesses wanted to Kenilworth street fight

Leamington Editorial 30th Jul, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fight on one of the main streets in Kenilworth.

Officers in a van were driving up Warwick Road around 11.45pm on Saturday (July 25) when they saw a group of men fighting in a garden opposite Thomas Hearn Furnishers.

A 17-year-old boy from Stratford was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and has been bailed pending further inquiries until August 1.

But police are keen to establish the circumstances of the incident and to trace the people involved.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has further information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
