Woman and her two dogs take on charity walk for Warwickshire charity Safeline

A FUND-RAISING woman and her two dogs are stepping out to raise money for Warwickshire charity Safeline.

Morrisons Community Champion Alex Pearson is walking the 13 miles between stores in Leamington and Stratford on Friday (February 26) to raise money for the sexual abuse charity.

She will be joined by her two dogs Archie and Chester.

Alex said: “I am proud to take part in this work.

“We know these times are hard and with restrictions in place we have the chance of an increase in sexual or domestic abuse.

“I am so happy to help and support Safeline. Myself and Archie have helped raise money for charities in the past and this is Chester’s first walk for a charity.

“I am so happy to be able to support this charity and raise awareness for Safeline, to make sure people know the support we have in our community.

“Please help us raise money and raise awareness for sexual abuse.”

Alex and her colleagues across both stores are hoping to raise £1,200 from collections and the sponsored walk.
