A WOMAN has been crushed by a traffic light in Southam.
The pedestrian in her 50s was crossing at the lights near the Shell garage around 2pm today (June 25) after a lorry knocked over the traffic light.
An air ambulance was at the scene where the victim was treated by paramedics for chest, arm and shoulder injuries.
She remained fully conscious and a passerby who helped the patient – thought to work at a nearby care home – said she was very shaken up.
She has been rushed to hospital.
