Woman taken to hospital after getting caught in middle of dog fight

A WOMAN and two men have been injured after after getting caught in the middle of a dog fight.

Emergency services were called to three dogs fighting outside Eden Court in Lillington at around 11am today (Tuesday August 15).

The men and woman are believed to have been walking the dogs.

Both men suffered minor cuts and the woman was taken to hospital for a wrist injury which is not thought to be life-changing.




The three dogs have been seized and taken to vets for treatment to head and neck injuries.

A police spokesman told the Observer: “Officers, including dog units, responded and secured the dogs, with the ambulance service also attending to treat a woman and two men who were injured during the incident.


“Police are making enquiries in the area to determine the exact events, with officers conducting additional reassurance patrols.”
