Women winning right to vote celebrated at school

WOMEN winning the right to vote was celebrated at a Leaminton girl’s school.

Pupils and staff at Kingsley School marked the centenary of the Representation of the People Act which gave women in Britain the vote for the first time.

They made rosettes and placards while some dressed up as suffragettes for the occasion.
