YOUNG and old got in the festive spirit at a care home’s Christmas fayre.
Kenilworth Manor Care Home opened its door for an event that saw residents and visitors enjoy Christmas carols, stalls, a festive quiz and tombola.
The festival – which was supported by the local girl guides group – raised more than £300 for resident activities.
Home manager Maria Harrington said: “Our fayre was a huge success with local businesses presenting and selling their arts and crafts.
“Our residents showcased their talents too singing some beautiful old-time carols around the Christmas tree. It was also brilliant to have the local girl guides along to promote the wonderful things they are doing this Christmas to help people.”
