KIND-HEARTED youngsters had their five a day and then some, while raising more than £500 for Children in Need.
Friends Zach and Finley from St James Academy in Southam ate nothing but fruit and vegetables for 24 hours on Saturday (November 21).
The seven-year-olds raised £545 for the cause, and to celebrate broke their 24 hour diet with waffles topped with chocolate.
Mum Rachel Anderson said: “Parents and the local community got behind the boys and they were so pleased to raise so much money.
“They were so dedicated and there was no moaning. The waffles for breakfast definitely helped them recover.”
