LEAMINGTON have signed full-back Nathan Kabeya for the 2026/27 season after the defender impressed on trial at the club.

Kabeya has featured in all four of Leamington’s friendly games so far and provided two assists in the club’s pre-season opener against Lye Town.

The 21-year-old also featured in a win against Sutton Coldfield Town and draws against Walsall and Brackley Town.

He spent last season at Rugby Town in the Northern Premier League Midlands after starting his career in the academy of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Kabeya said: “Scott is the first new manager I have had since I’ve been playing in non-league, and he’s been like a breath of fresh air really.

“It’s a new environment, new teammates, and since the beginning it’s been really welcoming.

“The ideas, the things we’ve been doing in training just align with what I want to do as a footballer as well as the rest of the lads.

“I think it’s showing already in the first few pre season games as a group what we can achieve.

“Even after the first couple of sessions, coming in as a trialist, the motivation has been that this is a team I want to play for.

“That’s made me go harder and it’s ended up with a good outcome, so I’m excited for the start of the season.”

Brakes boss Scott Easterlow added: “I’m really pleased for Nath.

“He’s someone we invited in for pre season having caught our eye at Step Four last season.

“He’s a full back who’s comfortable on either side.

“His performances this pre season have already shown he belongs at this level.”
