YOUNGSTER Ferran Redza is set for a bright future in the sport after topping the regional leaderboard in the under-nine age group.

Ferran, who trains at Warwick Tennis Club, has seen his career go from strength to strength after heading the Warwickshire age group by winning a doubles event in Wolverhampton where he also finished runner-up in the singles event too.

The leamington tennis star went one better in the singles last weekend after winning an event in Sutton Coldfield to become the best player in the area in his age category.

Ferran’s success comes from a fanastic support network which includes Budbrooke School who have been behind the youngster from the very start of his tennis career.

Warwick Tennis Club is getting behind the Davis cup after Great Britain’s success in the competition last year by offering free coaching lessions on Tuesday’s for 4-8 year olds as part of the Davis Cup egacy.
