WARWICK Boat Club squash teams continued their strong start to the winter season with a pair of wins on Monday evening.
The first team, playing in the Warwickshire squash League Four, came through a tough encounter with LA Fitness at home with a 18-5 win.
Tom Maguire, Jamie Goodhart, Rob Mohan and Richard Whitewell secured the win which moves the first team up to second in the table.
The second team dropped only their second point of the season with a 19-7 win away to Rugby with David Wall, Steve Kelly, James Alty and Martin Smart victorious in the League Six encounter.
They are now unbeaten in 40 and have mustered 78 points out of 80 to sit top of the table.
Both wins were despite late changes due to injuries and Jonathan Peak the coach said: “It is great to see the squad for both teams developing well which allows us to rotate players and keep the winning mentality going.”
