BOXING: STAR teenage boxer Morgan Ansell mixed power with brains last week, recording an outstanding set of GCSE results.
The youngster obtained a pair of Level 9s, one Level 8, eight A*s, and two Bs.
With ambitions to study at Cambridge University in the future and to box for Team GB in the Olympics, the bright Rugby-based fighter is keeping her head to the ground by maintaining her demanding training schedule.
Ansell attended a Team England Development Squad camp in Bristol the day after receiving her results – and her determination shows no sign of stopping.
Edwin Cleary, Clearys Boxing Gym coach, said: “She’s a dedicated young girl with very high ambitions.
“She’s a fantastic role model for all the youngsters as she trains twice a day – before and after school.
“Morgan is a credit to her family and Clearys.
“When she tells me she’s going to be Clearys’ next GB boxer and go to the Olympics, I can’t argue with her.”
