SPA Striders enjoyed a quieter week of racing as several members took on a variety of different events across the county.
Firslty, Gethyn Friswell took part in the Milton Keynes 10k, part of the East Midlands Grand Prix Series, and finished in a personal best (PB) time of 40 minutes 47 seconds in his first 10k race in five years.
Elsewhere, Striders hosted Kenilworth Runners for a social four-mile ‘Pace Race’ at the New Inn which took in the Leamington parkrun route around Newbold Comyn.
Runners had to predict their finishing times and then run without watches as Florencia Brea won the race being only two seconds away from her predicted time.
