MARK BAGLEY produced an inspired round to win the January Extra Medal at Kenilworth Golf Club on Saturday.
The difficult frosty conditions proved no problem to Bagley who amassed an excellent 41 points which secured an emphatic victory in Division A from runner-up Paul Duke 33.
Richard Abbott took the Division B honours with 34 points from Kieron Meade 33.
Meanwhile, the January Mixed Texas Scramble at Crewe Lane was won by Ben Hammond, Mark Draper, Jenny Saunders and Sandra Melling with 71, nett 62-and-1/2.
Charles Leggitt, Mark Bolshaw, Theresa Donnelly and Stephen Lindford finished runners-up with 74, nett 65, from Andrew Taylor, Ted Reading, John Hearne and Cherry Matthews 75, nett 65-and-1/4.
Nearest the pin winners were James Leggitt (7th) and Jim McCarthy (10th).
