LILLINGTON Bowling Club will open up its rinks for free as part of Bowls England’s Big Weekend on Sunday, May 25.
The club are based at Lime Avenue in Lillington and are inviting all to give the sport a try for free on their super green at the end of the month (May 25) from 10am until 4pm.
It is the fifth year the club has participated in the Bowls England event to try and encourage more people of all ages to try their hand at the sport, supported by the club’s experienced coaches.
All ages and abilities are welcome with tea and cakes provided and only flat shoes required.
Lillington are also running a tombola to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
