SOUTHAM United Bowling Club will open up its rinks for free as part of Bowls England’s Big Weekend.
Southam are running taster sessions for members of the public who are welcome to try their hand at the sport.
The sessions take place on Friday, May 23 from 6pm to 8pm, Saturday, May 24 from 10am to 1pm and Sunday, May 25 from 2pm to 4pm.
Anyone interested in attending must wear flat shoes – Southam will provide the rest of the equipment.
Current members travel to play at the club from Southam, the surrounding villages and as far away as Rugby.
The club is based at Lark Road in Southam overlooking the HS2 development.
Southam hope to attract both beginners and more experienced players to play in their league and friendly games.
The club offers regular coaching sessions to its players.
