WARWICKSHIRE players won six gold medals representing England at the British Bowls Championships in Llandrindod Wells, Wales.
Royal Leamington Spa Bowls Club players Michelle Meadowcroft, Ellie-Marie Hamblett, Emily Kernick and Kirsty Richards triumphed in the women’s four event.
The quartet produced a series of strong performances to beat Scotland, Ireland and Jersey en route to the title.
And the foursome sealed the title with a closely-fought 17-15 success against Jersey.
Warwickshire duo Lily-Mae Adams (Welford) and Kernick (Royal Leamington Spa) then retained their title in the women’s under-25 pairs event.
The England pair edged past Scotland in the semi-final before easing to a 23-8 victory against Wales in the final.
Kernick secured double gold after featuring in both finals.
