LEWIS WILLIAMS won Team GB’s final medal at the EUBC European Championships in Armenia with a bronze in the heavyweight division.
Williams, from Leamington, claimed a split decision win against Poland’s Mateusz Bereznicki in his opening bout in Yerevan.
And he then powered his way past Sadam Magomedov from Serbia in the quarter-finals before falling short against Italy’s Aziz Abbes Mouhiidine in the semi-finals who would go on to win gold.
Britain finished the tournament with eight medals made up of one gold, three silver and four bronze.
