CLEARY’S Boxing Gym fighter Reni Bulyka has become the new Midlands champion.
The 16-year-old beat Ajay Singh from Wolverhampton by unanimous decision to claim the title in Solihull.
Reni has been training and coached at the Gym for almost five years by Edwin Cleary, Chris Adams and Roy Thornton.
Another Cleary’s boxer in action this weekend is heavyweight Matty Harris who is on the undercard of the Chris Eubank Jr versus Conor Benn bill at the 02 Arena in London.
Harris has won all three of his professional fights to date, two of which came via first-round knockout including his most recent success in June earlier this year.
The heavyweight fights on Saturday, October 8 with the card available to watch live on DAZN pay-per-view.
