RACING Club Warwick slipped to a 3-1 defeat away at Aylestone Park after playing most of the game with 10-men.
Warwick’s Syrus Warren-Paul saw red after just 12 minutes for dragging down Matt Langham in the box as the Aylestone striker picked himself up to score the resulting penalty.
However, the visitors drew level just before half time when Luke Shearer scored a penalty of his own after Aylestone goalkeeper Josh Wormleighton committed a foul in the box.
The home side reclaimed the lead on 74 minutes when Langham scored his second of the game before substitute Ethan Hulley completed the scoring in injury time.
And the result means the Racers sit second in the United Counties League Premier Division South table after their six-match winning run in all competitions came to an end.
Warwick are next in action at home to Bugbrooke St.Michaels on Saturday, December 9 with kick-off at 3pm at Townsend Meadow.
