LEAMINGTON exited the FA Trophy at the third round stage following a 2-0 defeat against National League side Rochdale.

Goals in either half from Tobi Adebayo-Rowling and Matthew Dennis condemned the Brakes to a third round exit at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.

Leamington have now lost four of their last five matches in all competitions.

Rochdale took the lead four minutes before half time when Adebayo-Rowling turned the ball home from five-yards out after the Brakes failed to deal with a corner from the right.

Adebayo-Rowling celebrated the goal by running the length of the pitch, jumping over the barriers and hugging a tree.

And the visitors sealed their place in the next round on 84 minutes as Dennis finished through the legs of Callum Hawkins from 12-yards out.

Leamington are next in action against Spennymoor Town on Saturday, December 14 with kick-off at 3pm at Brewery Field.
