A HOST of players have committed to Leamington next season as Paul Holleran’s squad takes shape ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Jack Edwards, Theo Streete, Junior English and Connor Taylor have all agreed fresh terms to remain at the Your Co-Op Community Stadium.

However, Edwards will no longer captain the club, having taken on the role in the 2019/20 season, having amassed 369 appearances for the Brakes during his nine seasons in Warwickshire.

Holleran said: “We are hoping that Jack will relish having the freedom to be able to focus solely on his game now he has stepped down from captaining the side.

“Theo was one of our most consistent performers last season. He is still in great shape and his experience and know-how will be vital to us in the coming months.

“We are delighted that Junior will be staying to start his seventh season with us. He has always been great to work with and is always available to slot in where we need him and cause problems for the opposition.

“Connor has kept himself in great shape during the close season and has worked on a really good programme, and we’re looking forward to working with him again.

“He has had a lot of game time at this level in the last couple of seasons, and this will be important for us as we go through the season.”
