LEAMINGTON remain bottom of the table following a 2-0 defeat away at Chester as the club’s winless run stretched to 10 matches in the league.

Early goals from Dylan Mottley-Henry and Pat Jones condemned the Brakes to defeat at the Deva Stadium.

The result keeps Leamington rooted to the bottom of the National League North table, four points from safety.

Paul Holleran’s side made the worst possible start as Mottley-Henry put Chester ahead after just six minutes when he rose highest to head Lewis Leigh’s free-kick into the bottom left corner.

And the home side doubled their lead on 17 minutes when Jones curled a low effort past Eddie Brearey from 20-yards out.

Leamington are next in action against Merthyr Town on Tuesday, November 25 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Penydarren Park.
