FRANK Tattum scored an injury-time equaliser as Leamington rescued a point to draw 1-1 against 10-man AFC Fylde.

Tattum levelled the game five minutes into injury time after Danny Ormerod put Fylde ahead at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.

However, Fylde played the majority of the game with 10-men after Corey Whelan received a straight red card on 20 minutes.

The result leaves Leamington bottom of the National League North table, 12 points from safety.

Fylde broke the deadlock on 18 minutes when Ormerod turned the ball home at the near post from close range after Jon Ustabasi jinked his way into the box down the left.

However, the visitors had Whelan sent off just two minutes later after he bundled Owen Farmer to the ground just outside the penalty area which denied the Brakes a goalscoring opportunity.

The home side could not make the extra man count until deep into injury time when Tattum bundled the ball home from close range with Fylde appealing for a handball in the build up.

Leamington are next in action against Hereford on Tuesday, March 10 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Edgar Street.
