LEAMINGTON have completed the signing of Portuguese forward Miro Pais following his departure from Stourbridge.
Pais made 41 appearances for Stourbridge in the Southern League Premier Central last season.
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Bromsgrove Sporting where he made 99 appearances scoring eight goals.
Brakes boss, Paul Holleran said: “Miro is another player that we’ve kept an eye on for a few years.
“He has come through the ranks at Bromsgrove Sporting, and is someone we have always liked.
“He has a lot of games under his belt at Step Three, and I think he is someone who could make the step up.
“He is good with the ball at his feet and at pace, his aerial strength is good.
“He fits all the criteria that we look for in players, and if we can work with him on improving his game in the final third I think I he could be one that will do well here.”
Pais added: “I’m delighted to sign for Leamington.
“It has been one of my goals to play higher and the gaffer has given me the opportunity, which I’m grateful for.
“I can’t wait to be playing in front of the fans and show this great club what I’m about.”
