LEAMINGTON have confirmed the signing of young striker Owen Farmer from Wolverhampton Wanderers following the departure of top scorer Cally Stewart.
The 20-year-old arrives at the Your Co-Op Community Stadium on a permanent basis and can operate across the forward line.
Leamington acted quickly to replace top scorer Stewart who completed a dream move to League One side Shrewsbury Town.
Farmer won Wolves’ academy player of the season and scholar of the season awards at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
He joined the Molineux club as a 14-year-old and turned professional with Wolves in December 2022.
The young forward signed a new three-year deal with Wolves in September 2023 after impressing for the club’s under-21 side.
He also spent time with the Wolves first team and scored three goals in 16 appearances on loan at Rushall Olympic in the National League North last season.
Farmer will wear the number 24 shirt during his time with the Brakes.
