LEAMINGTON saw their 14-game unbeaten run at home come to an end following a 2-0 defeat against league leaders Scunthorpe United.
A second-half brace from Callum Roberts saw the Brakes taste defeat at the Your Co-Op Community Stadium in the league for the first time since February while Josh Quaynor received a straight red card late on.
And the result means Leamington sit 14th in the National League North table.
The visitors took the lead on 58 minutes when Roberts lashed a powerful halv-volley past Callum Hawkins despite the best efforts of the Brakes stopper.
And Scunthorpe sealed the points six minutes from time as Roberts finished from the penalty spot after Quaynor sent Kian Scales tumbling in the box for which the Brakes defender received a straight red card.
Leamington are next in action against Needham Market on Tuesday, November 26 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Your Co-Op Community Stadium.
