LEAMINGTON’S miserable season continued following a 2-0 home defeat against Chester.
Goals either side of half time from Pat Jones and Tom Davies condemned the Brakes to a third straight defeat at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.
The result leaves Leamington bottom of the National League North table, 14 points adrift of safety.
Chris Knott’s side made the worst possible start as Jones raced through on goal and found the bottom right corner when one-on-one with Brakes goalkeeper Eddie Brearey after just three minutes.
And the visitors doubled their lead on 55 minutes when Davies curled a fine effort into the top-left corner from the right-hand edge of the penalty area.
Leamington are next in action against Merthyr Town on Tuesday, February 24 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.
