LEAMINGTON lost for the third game in a row without scoring following a 1-0 home defeat against Macclesfield.
A first-half goal from Danny Elliott settled the game at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.
The result means Leamington sit 20th in the National League North table, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
However, 21st place Alfreton Town have a game in-hand on the Brakes.
The game’s only goal came on 34 minutes as Elliott collected a loose ball before driving towards the box and firing a driven effort into the bottom corner.
Leamington are next in action against Oxford City on Saturday, October 25 with kick-off at 3pm at the MGroup Stadium.
