LEAMINGTON stretched their unbeaten run to three matches following a goalless draw against relegation rivals Oxford City.
The Brakes are now on their longest unbeaten run of the season after playing out a stalemate with Oxford at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.
And the result means Leamington remain bottom of the National League North table, 12 points from safety but with games in hand on the teams above the drop zone.
The Brakes created a couple of early chances as Dan Meredith fired wide from distance while Max Brogan saw his low effort saved by Oxford goalkeeper Jonny Maxted.
Oxford responded with a chance at the other end as Rogan Ravenhill showed sharp reflexes to deny Jacob Roddy at the back post.
The home side survived a scare soon after when Josh Quaynor appeared to handle the ball in the box only for the referee to award a corner to the visitors.
After the break Tim Berridge drove a shot across the face of goal and wide before the hosts saw a penalty claim of their own waved away after Miro Pais went down in the box.
Brakes goalkeeper Ravenhill then received a yellow card after he charged off his line and caught DJ Sturridge well outside the box with two defenders on the cover.
Oxford went closest to breaking the deadlock from the resulting free-kick as Josh Ashby curled a shot against the post from 25-yards out with Ravenhill beaten.
Leamington are next in action against Macclesfield on Tuesday, February 10 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Moss Rose.
