LEAMINGTON and Racing Club Warwick will meet in a local derby in pre-season with the game to be played at Racing’s Townsend Meadow home.
The two clubs play just five miles apart from each other and will lock horns in a highly anticipated friendly on Saturday, July 15 with kick-off at 3pm.
And the two teams endured differing fortunes last season with Leamington relegated from the National League North whilst Warwick just missed out on promotion in the Midland Premier League.
The Brakes will play in the Southern League Premier Central next season whilst the Racers have been moved laterally into the United Counties League Premier Division South.
Ticket details will be released closer to the game whilst Leamington have also announced a pre-season trip to play Rugby Town a week after their scheduled clash with Warwick.
