RACING Club Warwick have made Callum Carsley the club’s first summer signing ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Carsley has spent the last three seasons with Atherstone Town where he made 86 appearances and won the Midland Football League Division One title in 2021/22.
The news comes after Racing manager Scott Easterlow and his coaching staff all committed to the club for the 2023/24 season last month.
Warwick boss Easterlow said: “Cal is someone who lives in Warwick but played for Atherstone last year.
“We continue to stick to the promise of having the best of local lads at our football club when possible, Cal will be a very good signing for us.
“He is comfortable anywhere down the left side and very good technically, our forwards will love having him onboard, his delivery and final ball is a centre forward’s dream.”
Racing quartet Dan Crane, Callum Rudd, Ben Kendrick and Harry White have all departed the club with Warwick to play in the United Counties League Premier Division South next season.
