RACING Club Warwick extended their winning run at home to 11 matches in all competitions with a 2-0 win against a young Birmingham City side in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
Goals in either half from Louis Monaghan and Luke Shearer confirmed Warwick’s place in the quarter-finals of the competition at Townsend Meadow.
Monaghan opened the scoring after just nine minutes as the striker for the sixth home game in a row.
And Shearer sealed the win in style on 67 minutes with a stunning lob over the goalkeeper from 25-yards out.
Warwick are next in action away at Lutterworth Town on Saturday, December 16 with kick-off at 3pm at Dunley Way.
