RACING Club Warwick came from behind to beat Sutton Coldfield Town 3-1 and leapfrog their opponents in the table.
The Racers trailed to Callum Wilson’s early goal only for Josh Willis to draw Warwick level before the break at Coles Lane.
And Max McNulty’s penalty completed the turnaround before Cameron Ebbutt completed the scoring late on.
The result means the Racers sit 10th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, 11 points outside of the play-off places.
Warwick made the worst possible start as Wilson coolly found the bottom left corner from Jack Storer’s floated pass in-behind the Racing defence after just four minutes.
However, the Racers equalised on 23 minutes when Willis rose highest to head in Ebbutt’s dangerous free-kick from the left at the back post from close range.
The visitors completed the turnaround on 64 minutes from the penalty spot as McNulty fired a confident spot kick into the bottom left corner.
And Ebbutt made sure of the points on 85 minutes with a calm finish into the right corner of the goal from Connor Taylor’s pass.
Racing Club Warwick are next in action against Grantham Town on Saturday, March 1 with kick-off at 3pm at Townsend Meadow.
