RACING Club Warwick have confirmed the departure of six players following the club’s promotion last season.
The Racers have begun to shape their squad for the 2024/25 campaign with six members of last season’s squad to depart the club.
Charlie Jones, Jay DLionga, Luke Shearer, Jamie Ashmore, Rico Taylor and Harry Sawyer have all left the club.
Jones scored 12 goals in 89 appearances for the Racers and was one of manager Scott Easterlow’s first signings upon rejoining the club in 2021/22.
DLionga played 56 games for the Racers while Shearer netted 11 goals in 30 appearances following his arrival at the start of last season.
Ashmore departs after appearing 27 times for Warwick while Taylor played 13 games and goalkeeper Sawyer made 14 appearances.
The club remain in talks with a number of players who helped the club achieve promotion last season.
