RACING Club Warwick stretched their unbeaten run to four matches following a 1-1 draw against rivals Coventry Sphinx.
After Archie Hamp’s goal put the home side ahead, Jordan Hayward’s diving header drew the visitors level at Townsend Meadow.
The result means Warwick sit 12th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table.
Warwick broke the deadlock on 30 minutes when Hamp continued his fine form in front of goal to put the Racers ahead.
However, Sphinx drew level on 63 minutes as Hayward stopped to nod in Matty Bowman’s header back across goal from six-yards out.
The visitors had Callum Woodward sent off at the death with the Racers unable to make the most of the man advantage in the remaining minutes.
Racing Club Warwick are next in action against AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday, October 11 with kick-off at 3pm at Hayden Road.
