RACING Club Warwick conceded at the death to draw 2-2 against league leaders Belper Town.
Belper took the lead courtesy of Liam Moran’s strike only for Connor Taylor to draw the home side level in first-half injury time at Townsend Meadow.
And James Harding’s goal just past the hour mark completed the turnaround as the Racers looked to upset the league leaders.
However, Jacob Gratton equalised for Belper with a free-kick two minutes into stoppage time to rescue a point for the table toppers.
The result means Warwick sit 14th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, four points clear of the relegation zone.
Belper broke the deadlock on 17 minutes when Moran finished into an empty net after Gratton’s lob over Sam Lomax came back off the crossbar.
However, the home side drew level at the end of the first half as Taylor finished on the rebound from close range after Kieran Preston kept out Harding’s initial effort.
And the Racers turned the game on its head on 65 minutes when Harding nodded in from point-blank range after James Hancocks’ looping header hit the crossbar.
However, Belper snatched a point at the death as Gratton curled a free-kick over the wall and through the gloves of Lomax from 25-yards out.
Racing Club Warwick are next in action against Wellingborough Town on Saturday, November 1 with kick-off at 3pm at the Dog and Duck Ground.
