RACING CLUB WARWICK secured their first league away win of the season after battling to a 2-1 victory at Whitchurch.
Goals from Danny Murphy and Romario Martin ensured the Racers claimed a third win from their last four matches.
The result means Warwick now sit 15th in the Midland Football League Premier Division table.
Whitchurch had not lost a game since mid-November and were searching for a sixth successive victory.
However, Racing went ahead through Murphy’s header before the returning Martin doubled the visitors lead.
The home side halved the deficit from the penalty spot through James Garlick on 70 minutes before striking the crossbar late on.
Warwick are next in action away at Bewdley Town on Saturday, January 15 with kick-off at 3pm at Ribbesford Meadows.
