RACING Club Warwick’s indifferent form continued following a narrow 2-1 defeat away at Hinckley LRFC.
The Racers fell behind to goals from Ben Humphreys and Chris Jones either side of half time before Cameron Ebbutt halved the deficit just past the hour mark at Leicester Road Stadium.
And the result means Warwick sit 11th in the Nothern Premier League Midlands table.
Hinckley broke the deadlock five minutes before half time as Humphreys struck to put the home side in front.
And Jones doubled Hinckley’s lead on 55 minutes to leave the visitors with a mountain to climb.
However, Ebbutt reduced the deficit on 67 minutes with the Racers unable to find an equaliser in the remaining minutes.
Racing Club Warwick are next in action against Sutton Coldfield Town on Saturday, February 22 with kick-off at 3pm at Coles Lane.
