SCOTT Easterlow has penned a farewell message to former club Racing Club Warwick after he departed the Racers for Leamington.

Easterslow swapped Townsend Meadow for the Your Co-op Community Stadium after more than 300 games in charge of Warwick.

And Easterlow penned a farewell message to the Warwick supporters, expresseing his appreciation to everyone he worked with during his time at the club.

Easterlow said: “It’s the end of an era and one I have thoroughly enjoyed.

“As I step away from my role as manager of Racing Club Warwick, I do so with immense pride.

“To be leaving as the most successful manager in the club’s history is something that will always be very special to me.

“Two unforgettable promotions, two cup finals and seeing the club return back to as high a level as they have ever been.

“Together we have achieved so much but now I feel it’s the right time for me to leave the club and someone else take up the challenge.

“To the fans, we have shared some brilliant times together that are now stitched into the club’s history.

“I’m as ambitious as anyone and I’m excited about the next step in my own journey but that won’t take away from what we have achieved here.”

The Racers have placed midfielder Jack Edwards in charge of the side for the club’s weekend fixture against Wellingborough Town.
