BOXING: LEAMINGTON boxing club were well represented at the weekend as both Rhys Anderson and Chanon James earned wins.
Boxing Ryan Hickey of Heart of England ABC, Anderson’s fight was stopped in the second round.
A series of hard-hitting body shots, coupled with an uppercut helped the 16-year-old Leamington fighter earn his second career win.
And to make his win even more deserved, it took place just weeks after the teenager was rocked by an ashthma attack.
Also in action was Chanon James.
James, aged 13, boxed K.Jarvis of Solihull ABC to win on points.
