RUGBY UNION: HARBURY suffered a second successive league defeat on Saturday, crashing to a 32-0 loss against Bedworth.
The visiting side, who are enjoying a rich run of form, started off quickly out of the blocks.
They moved to a 12-0 half time lead as their resolute defence kept Harbury at bay.
Bedworth added a penalty and try after the break, but Harbury had a solid ten minute spell when they countered the visitors efforts.
However, good defence from Bedworth resisted their efforts.
Harbury refused to lie down, but a risky strategy and moving the ball wide led to an interception and although the ball carrier was tackled, the offload was well judged and a try wide out resulted.
Bedworth added a well worked try in the final phases of play and ran out deserved winners.
Harbury have much work to do and a number of injuries adding to those of players already missing makes that a hard task with several difficult matches ahead.
