LEAMINGTON had to be satisfied with a winning draw against Shropshire side Wellington in Birmingham League Division One.
After being put into bat, Leamington posted 224-8 from 52 overs with the help of Chris Calcott’s 65 and Jonathan Wigley’s 46.
Wendell Wagner (3-73) was pick of the Wellington bowlers.
In reply Wellington battled hard to salvage a losing draw, eventually reaching 180-8 from their allotted 52 overs.
Skipper Simon Khomari top scored with 56.
Leamington entertain Halesowen on Saturday.
