LILLINGTON FC’s U9’s Panthers are celebrating the support of their new sponsorship deal for the next two years.
Local Leamington Spa restaurant Côte Brasserie have kindly committed to supporting the club – who are an approved FA Wildcat team.
The Football Association’s initiative to double girls’ sporting participation has led to the Panthers being endorsed.
Being a newly formed team and in their first season of existence, sponsorship has proved vital to running the club.
The recent news has been a welcomed boost by Lillington – who play home games at North Leamington School in the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League.
Panthers coach Jez Turner spoke fondly of the sponsorship deal.
“Our new sponsor Leamington Spa Côte Brasserie are fully supporting the team and we look forward to having them alongside us for the next two years. Not many local businesses go as far out of their way as Côte have making them more than just a logo on the girls’ kit.”
Coaching alongside Emma Turner, the team consists of seven girls between ages six to eight, with the coaches taking great pride in the girls’ passion for the game as they continue their development.
General Manager of Leamington Spa Côte Brasserie Ollie Davis said: “We are thrilled to find such a unique and worthwhile initiative to support in our local community. The Panthers are all dedicated, committed and talented and we’re so excited for their success this season.”
