LEAMINGTON powerlifter Gabinder Cheema has qualified for the World Single Lift Championships in France next month.
Cheema secured his place in Maromme after placing second overall in the men’s open 100kg category at the British Equipped Bench Press Championships.
The event, held in Wing, Buckinghamshire, was run by the British Drug Free Powerlifting Association.
And Cheema is now set to compete in France at the end of May.
